Terms of use

Last updated 21 October 2026

The short version

What you put in stays yours.
We store it and show it to you. We don't own it, sell it or use it for anything else.
Tickosh is free while it's being tested.
If that ever changes, you'll hear at least 30 days before.
Reminders can be late or missed.
Don't rely on Tickosh alone for medicine or anything to do with safety.
You can leave at any time.
Take your calendar with you as a file, and ask us to delete the rest.

Who runs Tickosh

Tickosh is run by Ordinal Works, based in Singapore. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Ordinal Works, and "you" means the person using Tickosh. By making an account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 years old to use Tickosh, or older if the law where you live says so.
  • An account is for one person. Use an email address you can read.
  • Keep your password, passkeys and sign-in codes to yourself. If you think someone else has signed in as you, sign out your other devices from Settings and tell us.

Tickosh is being tested

Tickosh is new and still changing. Features may move, change or be taken away, and some things will break before they're fixed. We back up your data every day, but while Tickosh is being tested, keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose. Settings can download your events and dated tasks as a calendar file.

Reminders can be late

We work hard to remind you at the right minute. Even so, phones, browsers, battery savers, networks and the services that deliver notifications can delay an alert or stop it arriving. Don't rely on Tickosh alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as taking medicine, medical appointments or safety checks.

What you put in Tickosh

Your tasks, lists, notes and everything else you put in Tickosh belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and display them only so far as running Tickosh for you needs: keeping them in sync across your devices, sending your reminders, and keeping backups. That permission ends when you delete them, apart from backups, which expire on their own.

Don't put anything in Tickosh that you don't have the right to use, or that breaks the law.

Fair use

Please don't:

  • try to get into someone else's account or data;
  • attack, overload or probe Tickosh, other than reporting a weakness as described in its security contact;
  • use Tickosh to send spam or to harass anyone;
  • copy, resell or make automated use of Tickosh outside the ways we offer.

If you find a security problem, email security@tickosh.com. We'll thank you, fix it, and not take action against good-faith research.

Price

Tickosh is free while it's being tested. If we ever charge for it, we'll tell you at least 30 days before anything changes, and you'll be able to download your data first. Nothing you've already made will be locked away.

Ending

  • You can stop using Tickosh at any time. Until account deletion is in Settings, email privacy@tickosh.com from your account's address and we'll delete your account within 30 days.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. Where it's safe to, we'll tell you first and say why.
  • If Tickosh ever closes for good, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can take your data with you.

Responsibility

Tickosh is given to you as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by a reminder that came late or didn't come. Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; while Tickosh is free, that is nothing.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be changed by an agreement.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, unless the law or a security problem needs it sooner. The date at the top always shows the latest version.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore. If you live somewhere whose consumer law gives you more protection, or the right to go to your own courts, you keep it.
